Joel Proskewitz / Founder
Joel Proskewitz is an internationally acclaimed strength coach and health and fitness expert. His unique approach focuses on effective, tailored training and rehabilitation programs that achieve results that really last. With an excess of 20,000 hours of training, Joel has worked with a wide range of clients including Olympic medalists, business executives, rehabilitation patients and families keen to improve their long-term fitness. Neil Broadbent / Personal Trainer
Neil has an extensive background in health and fitness. He has worked alongside some of the most respected experts in fitness, health and wellbeing. Neil has been practicing martial arts for 30 years and is a multiple junior national karate champion and former professional MMA fighter. Years of studying and teaching movement in martial arts has made Neil understand how to regress and rebuild movement patterns to build a stronger and more functional body.
Wesley Doherty / Personal Trainer
Wesley’s passion for sport and exercise started as far back as he can remember. Through his early years, he was always kicking a ball around, riding a bike or tennis racket in hand pretending to be Boris Becker! A career involved in exercise was inevitable!
After coming from a broad sporting and athletic background, where he competed to a high level in many sports including football, athletics, tennis and badminton, Wesley is now entering his 15th year as a Personal Trainer based in NW London.
Bruna Tavares / Practice Manager
Originally from Portugal, Bruna is a sports and fitness enthusiast herself, a keen gymnast and dancer, as well as practicing Yoga in her spare time. Bruna has earned great experience as a customer service assistant, and as our front of house office administrator. Owner of a friendly and kind personality, Bruna is the main contact with clients and plays an important role in the management of PerformanceRx, helping to make this one of the best private health and fitness facilities in London.
Dr Sara Ahmed / General Practitioner
A Bart's and the Royal London trained medical doctor, she obtained a first class BSc degree with Honours and a prize in biochemistry from QMW and graduated from medical school in 2001. In 2013 she undertook a post graduate diploma in dermatology at Cardiff University and graduated with a distinction. She currently works as a GP with special interest in Dermatology. She is a reviewer and writer for a GP industry journal and has been award an honorary research position at Bart's and the Royal London Hospital. She has a keen interest in preventative medicine including heart disease and diabetes.
Fiona Baldry / Physiotherapist
Fiona has been qualified as a chartered physiotherapist since 1987, initially working in the NHS, and for over the last 20 years, in private practice. She has a close working relationship with many leading Orthopedic consultants, Rheumatologists and GP’s, allowing her access to some of the very best medical professionals in the UK.
David Baker / Physiotherapist
David has wide experience in musculoskeletal clinical management working in the entire spectrum of areas from sports team and A&E through to complex chronic pain conditions. David is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine. Trained to masters level, David is able to bring together a unique array of clinical expertise including the traditional skills of manipulation, acupuncture, soft tissue mobilisations and sports rehab, with these advanced practice skills such as image guided injections, diagnostic ultrasound and prescribing.
Amelie Leroy / Physiotherapist
Amelie qualified as a physiotherapist in 2005 in Switzerland and has since worked in various hospitals and sports clinics. In particular she has worked with pre & post – operative patients, those with complex work injuries, sport related injuries and chronic pain. Her main aim is to find the source of the problem and to pinpoint hidden triggers. Her treatments involve readjusting joints with various manual therapies, soft and deep tissue techniques, as well as Tom Bowen Therapy, and finding the most efficient exercises to address muscular imbalances.
Alexei Roszkowiak / Physiotherapist
Alexei graduated in 2001 from the University of East London and has since gained a majority of his experience working within an orthopaedic and outpatients setting. Alexei has worked at a number of private hospitals in and around the Hampshire area, treating a wide range of post operative patients and musculo-skeletal conditions. He also currently works as part of a large medical team within a private boarding school, working with children aged 11 to 17yrs.
